Theme: Light and Shadow



This was a miracle litter in that Ali was very ill while pregnant with the kittens and we had thought that she would die. It was with much work and tireless care that we turned Ali around and without her losing the kittens. Another surprise was that she had 4 kittens when the ultrasound only showed 3. It was a hard litter to raise because Ali had inverted nipples and couldn't nurse them at first. So the kittens were bottle fed for the first week. Wonder was bottle fed the whole time since she never learned how to nurse.

Twyla was a beautiful kitten but just stopped growing all of a sudden and faded. Unfortunately the autopsy was unclear as to the cause.
